Default Throttle and mix cables, what size hole?

On my 8A plans, the approximate location of the hole to be drilled in the bulkhead forward of the throttel quandrant is shown. This is the hole through which my mixture and throttle cables will pass. I am using a fixed pitch prop so I dont need to run a prop cable.

The size of the hole is not specified on the plans. A one inch hole would allow both cables to pass through. I have a 1" plastic grommet that I used to determine that. I do not have a 3/4 grommet to test to see if that would work. The advantage of a 1 inch hole is that it may be large enough to pass a prop cable through if I decide to go C/S in the future.

I would be interested in feedback from those of you who have already solved this issue.

Thanks
