Default Panel refit

I am taking a couple of days off work to refit the old analog panel of our RV9 with a new modular panel & Enigma.
Do I have to rethread the throttle, mixture, carb heat and cab heat through the firewall? I have looked and cant see a simple way to remove them backward through the old panel.

Any other last minute tips for panel change overs?

Default Mine are mount below the panel.

The plans show the use of a bracket below the panel. I would just need to unscrew it.
If you mounted yours in the panel itself, I think that your will need to pull them all the way out.

Default Have Fun!

Unless your's are mounted on a modular panel below the main panel, and you plan to re-use the lower panel, then yes, in my experience you'll have to pull them all the way out of the firewall. We just finished a panel change on Louise's airplane, and you can read about some of the trials and tribulations here:

We also captured some of the lessons learned here:

Enjoy!
