Default JPI EDM Service

I have an early, 2004, EDM 930. It had two minor issues; OAT and Oil Temp would read -320deg if below 34 deg, and the fuel level auto calibrate did not work properly. Nothing to keep me from flying.

JPI asked that I send it in for an update. I shipped it last Monday FEDX with a return FEDX label. It arrived Tuesday. They called to let me know it arrived. The called again Wednesday to let me know they updated the hardware and software and that I would be getting the case back but it was a new instrument. No charge. I had the unit back on Thursday. I installed it and flew Monday.

It works perfectly.

That is the kind of service I expect when I buy a $4000 instrument.
I am not plugging thier product as there are many fine instruments out there this being only one of them. However, not long ago I had overheard, "I heard from someone that someone had a problem with JPI's service so I bought something else" and wanted to post an actual experience rather than hear say.
