Thumbs up Shady Bend Fly In

It was a beautiful day for flying in Florida. Went to a great little fly in on a very nice grass strip near the Suwanee River call Shady Bend. Great flying, friends and food. The weather was so good today, everything with wings was flying including the buzzards. There was also a fatal GA mid-air over the everglades.

Shady Bend is Tracy Crook's roost, right? Has he finished his 8 yet?

Default Yes and No

Yes,

Tracy and Laura were the good Hosts. There was a rotary powered RV4 out front and a RV8 still under construction in the hanger.

Default shady Bend Fly-In

Thanks for the pictures FlyRod. We have been blessed with beautiful weather for both RV Fly-In's here in North Florida (Little River & Shady Brend) Hope this trend will continue for the January RV gathering at SNF.
That was Tracy's RV-8 with the Rotary Engine under construction in his hangar, great workmanship.
Tracy and Laura always make everyone welcome and provide a great lunch for us.
How about that 450 Steerman? Awsome. Nice looking RVs too.
