Default Smoketown's got a MUSTANG!

I went out and took Dakota Queen up for some fun today and enjoyed the clear blue skys and kinda sorta warm day(at least it did not feel to cold)
And when I landed I got to check out the newest member of the Smoketown family... A P-51D mustang that will be living here for the next couple of years undergoing a full restoration. This is a big deal for are small little airport Way Cool http://img149.imageshack.us/my.php?i...orationnm8.png

Default QB P-51?

He's pretty far along...must be the QuickBuild kit. Is he going to put a Subaru engine in it?

Ack! Liquid cooling.

It'll never fly.

And it has a gear reduction unit so even if it does fly, it won't for long.

Oh, and they should have built it as an "A" because those tail wheels are just not safe.

Let's see...

It probably doesn't have an E'buss or back up electrical system or instruments either.

Definitely not a safe plane.

If they added a parachute like the SR-20/22's then maybe I would fly in it.

Still, it was built with a fuel tank in the fuselage and everyone knows that will cause it to go up in a ball of fire.
