Need DFW area Transponder Certification
Need to get my 2 year transponder check done and also to confirm my new sandia encoder is doing it's job. Looking for recommendations for someone that can do this and not charge me an arm and a leg

Transponder Check
Walt,
A bunch of us at Hicks used Mike Ferrer this last summer for our checks. He came to us and is very reasonable, much better than the guy up at Olney.

Just as a quick follow up..
I appreciate the recommendations. I called Mike from Ferrer Aviation services and met with him on Sat at my hanger. Mike is a great guy and did a bang up job on my xpdr cert and encoder/altimeter corolation with my new encoder. I would highly recommend anyone needing this service to contact Mike, he not only did a great job but his prices are also the best around. In addition we had a nice time discussing various things including our love of both electronics/avionics and RV's.
