Default New Year - New Prices for VANS????

I'm sure others will find this useful too.

I've heard rumors that VANS usually makes incremental price changes on Jan 1 of every year.

Couple of questions:

1) Is this true?

2) Historically, what's the incremental change been?

If I need to get started organizing all my George Washington's, I need to get started now...

Thanks,
Phil

For the last 6-7 years, Vans has raised prices
about 3% at the beginning of the year.

Normally 3%... BUT Van's already raised the prices this year once already. With fuel costs... who knows what it will be.

You may take a look back to few years http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://...c/kitprice.htm even it doesn't directly answer whether this price increase happens on 1st January.

If you wish to do some math, you could use prices above to check this out...

PS. Van's usually even 'advertises' that the prices are checked on 1st January so check their web pages on December.

Default Order early

If you order before Jan, 1st, make the required deposit and take delivery of the parts per Van's schedule you will only pay this year's price.
Well, I ordered my empennage and wings in november 2005, my fuselage in november 2006 and guess what, my finishing kit in november 2007.
