Default Canopy sealant question

Trying to find some info for a friend with windshield sealing problems: What is the material some people are gluing their canopies on with? Thought it was something like Sitkaflex but I must not know how to spell it as search didn't work. Need a number for what is being used. Also, any recommendations for just a good sealant that isn't necessarily a structural bond? This is for a certificated aircraft, although I don't think that should matter in this case.

Thanks.

Default Thanks!

Got it. A leaking windshield just cost this guy a new DG and attitude indicator, plus delayed his instrument check ride. I think he is interested in something that works and the Sikaflex 291 looks like something that just might. I know he wouldn't want the strength of the 292.
