Default Rv-9 High-Speed Pass

Not sure, but I think this is a Lycoming-powered RV-9 making a high-speed pass over San Francisco Bay during Fleet Week.

If you look close just as the plane enters the frame it looks like a seagull takes a thrashing from the wake.

Now you've done it John. By posting that there's a chance I'll be violated by the FEDS for that little stunt.

I don't know what you two are talking about. That was me. I kept telling everyone how fast my -9 is with the O-290-D2 up front and that was the perfect time to prove it!

Default I've got it

Actually it was a smooth as silk, Eggenfelner H6, going 249mph, burning 2.4 gph, at 1200 rpm, with no cowl flaps, venting, boosting, turbocharging with a Gen64 prop drive, a coolant temperature of 110 F with 2400 TT on the engine.

Get those deposits in

Couldn't help myself, I just had a Red Bull about 20 minutes ago.

Did I mention that I have a 68" x 64" Catto prop?

Actually I don't think that was a seagull - that was the elevator departing after experiencing a little flutter problem.
