Default Engine swap/New restrictions?

I am swapping out an O-320/wood prop with a Lyclone O-360/metal Sensinech. Do I have to do anything with the FAA?
I know a new weight/balance will be needed. What else?

I was not the original builder, thats why I have no clue.

Default Check your operating limitations.

It all depends on your operating limitations. If it has the latest version, then you just need to make a logbook entry, new weight & balance and place the aircraft back into Phase I for a minimum of 5 hours. You must notify the local FSDO of your proposed test area and get their concurrence. If you operating limitations are very old, you may have to get a recurrent certification.
