View Counter Change or Malfunction?

I consider the thread "View" counter an important piece of information. Maybe I'm alone in this but on my computer the view count only increments with a post. If this is the new system, OK but it can be just as interesting to know how many people are interested in a subject whether they care to make a comment or not

You're correct, Bob. It's a quirk that I need to research. I 'believe' all that is needed is a complete counter reset in the software, but I'm going to wait until the next scheduled re-boot to do it - it will require keeping the forums offline for a couple of hours.
