What EGT temps
.......do you guys see on your 0-320 160 horse Lycs on climb and cruise? My buddy's new -4 has a used Lyc with around 1500 TT and when I climb at full throttle, the temps are lower than cruise. Then the #3 and 4 cylinders show 1440 and 1460 during rich cruise at 2400 RPM running full rich. Numbers 1 and 2 are below 1400 degrees. CHT's are around 350-370. We've checked the intake tubes, rubber hoses and carb gasket for leaks and everything seems ok. The Dynon 180 is new, as are all the CHT probes and EGT probes. Are these temps too high or can we live with them?
Regards,
