Default 200 hours on the hobbs

Well today my little bird crossed 200 on the hobbs. First flight was April 27, 2007.
90% of my flight time has been my daily "commute" from San Antonio to Houston and back. I've made a few longer trips, to New Orleans and to LOE as well.

What a great machine Van designed.

Now, I've just gotta finish my fairings and get a paint job!

**** !! I thought I was cranking !! 200hrs in 5 months ?? You're an animal !!

100% agree - I'd like to shake Van the Man's hand too - but I think I'd be just distracting him from designing amazing planes.

RV-9 - N696WG - 230 hrs - 9 months.

Happy Skies !!

I'm definitely a slacker by comparison! I'm at 210 hrs over 11 months, and still no paint/intersection fairings. Someday...

Default And I thought I was doing good...

You have two months less time (I flew Feb 27, '07) and I have just over 100 hours. Guess I better go to the airport.

I flew 256 hrs in 13 months before painting (2 weeks down). Now at 14 months I have 272 hrs. Isn't it great! Just came back from a fly-in to meet a few RV builders/pilots. Another >200 nm (one way) flight scheduled for tomorrow. Life is good with an RV!
