I am building an RV 7A and am only going to have it VFR. But I was thinking maybe at a later date I might want to set it up for IFR. So with this in mind what antennas will I need and should I fit these now while still in the building stages?
The best thing to do is to run RG-wire to the locations where you might want to run other antennas, you will want a marker beacon, 2nd com, VOR, maybe a second GPS. The best time is now to run the wires it is much harder to do it when all the interior is complete, its not hard to remove it if you choose.
