Default Tip: Using electrical tape in place of clay

Having just finished my front canopy fairing I thought I'd pass this tip along. After using clay to sculpt my wheel pant intersection fairings I decided to try something different on the canopy fairing. I built up a fairing out of electrical tape and then gave it a couple of coats of wax before laying up the glass cloth. I found that getting a nice fair shape with the tape was quite a bit easier than sculpting with clay. The tape just sort of automatically assumes a smooth shape and required no removal of clay when done.
