CHT Probe Install Question

The little bosses that screw into my engine for the CHT probes seem to have no washer or tab or anything to keep em in. The instructions from GRT have no torque spec either. Anybody know the correct procedure for these?

Just screw 'em in until they're snug, the probes are spring loaded and will keep everything in place. If you screw the boss in too tight with a small screwdriver it will break, use the largest screwdriver that will fit.

I just checked the STC'd instructions that came with my GEM engine monitor, and no torques are given. As Pete said, the springs help here...

They do mention that anti-seize should be used, which makes sense given the dissimilar materials involved...
