vacuum system ??

I just removed a dead vacuum AI from the plane. I still have a dg which I would like to continue to use. I simply capped off the AI vacuum lines. Is that OK ?

I'll check with Mr. Bingelis later. But I thought somebody might know vacuum systems well enough to say ok or not.
