Default Where the heck do you get a 4" flange?
Since everybody swears by 4" hose for oil coolers, where the heck do you get a nice 4" flange? I know I can make one of glass, but I don't want to.

Steve,
Go with a 3" flange. I don't know why some guys swear by a 4". I have a TWO inch scat hose on my 180 HP -6 and never see over 200 degrees in the hot summer. I've often heard that the -4's don't usually have any cooling problems anyway.

Vans has a 4" flange that is used on the RV10. It comes with the Baffling kit for the IO-540 engine.

Default 2 inch hose
I have only 2 inch scat hose to the oil cooler on my rv-4 160hp and it has never run hot. Leaves more air to go thru the cooling fins.
