Default What did I see on the trailer?

Driving this morning, I passed (going the oppositer direction) some type of P-51 on a trailer. It wasn't painted, had a nice four bladed prop (thicker blades than a T-51), appeared to be composite, and had the outer wing panels removed outside of the landing gear. I would have thought it was a Thunder Mustang, but I think they have a one piece wing?

There is a Thunder Mustang nearing completion in the Hillsboro area (saw it last week) and it will be trucked by road to McMinville soon...

...but you are correct, the Thunder Mustang has a one-piece wing, so it wasn't a TM....

It still could be the T-51. The new engine allows for a much thicker and longer prop.
