Braided fuel lines ???

A friend called and mentioned that he had a contact in the pipe shop of the aviation outfit he works with, and would be able to get braided lines made up for me if I wanted them. The price was right, real right if you know what I mean.

I?m wondering if there are any advantages/disadvantages to having braided fuel lines etc, over the ones supplied with the kit???
