Oil cooler Plenum

I've seen a few pics of small fiberglass plenums mounted on the oil cooler and then scat hose to the baffles. I'd like to make one of these tomorrow, but wonder about how well that fiberglass will handle the heat of the oil cooler. Anybody know about it?

Mine is made of 8 oz cloth and West systems epoxy. I don't remember the number of lay ups but no problems after 1.5 years. BTW, mine is solid mount to the firewall.

Did mine the same way. Made it thick and used .060 2024-T3 strips between the plenum and six mounting bolts.
