Smile First Flight

On September 1, 2007 around 10:40 AM Wayne Dawson took to the sky in his just completed RV-7A. The flight was as perfect as they get. He orbited the airport for about 45 minutes. At 25" square he was seeing about 156 kts. Temps and pressures were also perfect. He ended his flight with a textbook landing and taxied back to my hangar for some congradulations and a bottle of champagne.
This marks the 5th first flight for WPA RV BUILDERS in just under 3 years. Wayne lives in North Carolina. He has been living in a small trailer at the airport for the last 10 months. I have been working with him everyday to make his dream come true.
There are pictures on our web site: www.wparvbuilders.nstemp.com. Look under Waynes project.
Congrats Wayne,

Nickie, Tom, and Putz Emery
