Default PIREPs for Avidyne TAS600?

hey all -

searched the archives with no luck, so i thought i'd ask... anyone using the Avidyne (formerly Ryan) TAS600? I'd like to hear from someone who is using or has used it, and what their experience is with it. seems neato (but pricey) and i'm thinking of doing that instead of Mode S with a GTX330. i understand the difference between active traffic and Mode S, i'd just like to know if the Avidyne unit works as advertised?

thanks in advance for any help!

Default tas600

Where I work we routinely install the TAS610 and pilots like them. The differences between the 600 and the 610 are: lower detection range and the 600 lacks arinc 429 compass input. If you have a GNS430 or 530, you could install the processor without the display, or you could do both.
