Default Aileron puch rods

Hello folks i need a little help my puch rods for the ailerons are contacting the upper portion of the rear spar pass through. Im pretty sure i have all the parts in the right place the bellcrank and aileron attach bracket etc. The only solution i see is to drop the puchrod lower on the attach bracket which will be a little lower than what the plans call for will this cause any problems if i drop it lower? It an RV3

Default Puch?

"Puch" is "push" in spell check.

Default Push Rod Issue

I had the same problem on my 9A. They were touching the spar at about 15 degrees on the down angle. I called Vans, and they said no problem, just bore out the opening a bit with a grinder. I used a sanding bit on a Dremel. It worked just fine. Since then I have been looking at other planes when attending airshows. I have seen several with the same issue.
