Hey Doug,
I didn't realize that your birthday was so close to mine. One of these days when my -6 is complete I will fly some Dublin DP up to you and we can party.

Talking Woooo Hoooo!

Happy Birthday Doug! Hope things are going well for you! I hope your birthday goes better for you than one of my customers... it was his birthday and he needed an oil change... guess what I found packed in his oil filter..... Poor guy.... he had just bought the airplane and flown it 30 hrs... Asian fellow with not a good command of english languagae.... I felt like every time I talked to him I needed sub-titles... anyway.... I could not carry a tune unless it was in a bucket so I hired some pretty DANCING GIRLS to sing to you!!!!

Happy Birthday toooooo you... Happy Birthday tooooo you... Happy Birthday Dear Doug Reeves.... Happy Birthday toooooooooo youuuuuuuuuuuuu!

Top aviation reasons you know your getting old
1. Wright Brothers refused to hire you as a test pilot because of quadfocals
2. You have a LOA for the Wright Flier in your file
3. The hospital refuses to ship you a copy of your birth certificate because it's engraved on a stone tablet
4. Metal airplanes are "new" to you
5. Your wheelchair is fixed with aviation hardware.
6. You tested proseal...(the first version)
7. Your "glass cockpit" is a hiking compass safety wired to the dash
8. Your uncle invented the magnito.

Best
