Default trim bundle?

Today it occurred to me that in one of my kits (wing or emp, I forget) I got this stack of rectangular peices of aluminum with the lable "Trim bundle". I haven't seen anywhere in the plans calling for these... what are they for??

To make extra parts, like the little rectangle you should have needed when you did the rudder frame.

Yep, it's just the extra aluminum that's trimmed off when they created your kit. Mine made its way into everything from shims to side-consoles in the cockpit. I even used some to make riveting-practice kits for all my friends -- so I could teach them how to buck rivets! (Sneaky, huh?)
