Default Canopy blemish

Now that I?m flying, I noticed a bubble in the canopy, directly in front of me. Luckily it is low and lines up with the top of the cowling so it isn?t noticeable in flight.

When I cut and fitted my canopy, I never pealed off the plastic, just cut through it, and only pealed back enough to fiberglass it in place.

This bothers me because there is no way I?m replacing the canopy. Too expensive and too much time.

I?m not sure what to tell future builders. If you peal the plastic off to inspect it, you risk damaging the canopy. If you leave it on (as I did), there is no way to spot this type of imperfection.

Sorry, just venting a little.
