Default New Prop for "noselight"

I recall someone was worried about being tail heavy or as Dan C says "noselight". So this week while doing the Annual on my powerplant, I snapped the pic below. It should be plenty heavy to shift the weight forward. Although, you will need a big engine. Shown in the Low power position(take-off) is ~2000hp. Pitch is adjustable to Full power or roughly ~14000 Shaft Horsepower.

.025, If I recall. Notice 1 set of bolts is missing it's lockwire and 2 others have been damaged.

I should have had someone stand in the pic for a size comparison. the turbine is 16 feet dia. and the nosecap is roughly 24". Unit turns 85.7rpm

My guess is that you have some kind of Dam job in a pumping station....

Pumping station? I guess if you call pumping the Missouri River downstream.

Broadwater Power Project at the Toston Dam, 1st dam on the Missouri. It's a Run-of-the-river small hydro unit. 6600cfs, 22' head produces 10megawatts.

And yes it's a Dam job, but it pays the bills.
