Question aileron hinge bolt/nut

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the picture below depicts a less than desirable technique of mounting the aileron to the wing....right?

A cotter pinned castle nut with the next size smaller bolt would be ideal, right?

Thank you for your time!

-Jim

P.S. Sorry for the low picture resolution.

Jim,
.... that is acceptable as long as the bolt is tightened against the inner ball (or race) of a bearing.
That is what is happening in this particular spot - and many other RV locations.
The bolt is not the pivot point, if it was, then the castle nut and cotter pin would be required.

It's OK...
