KROY Labeler info wanted please

I have a KROY labeler I bought used that I am having a hard time with. The print on the labels is poor and I can't seem to change the font size. The owners manual doesn't help much. Anyone have a good source for info on these machines. They came highly recommended off of this list, maybe I just got a lemon. Thanks in advance.

Guess I should have included that, thanks for asking, it is a "TubeMarker 600".

Even the Kroy website is a little light on the TM600 info. The closest was some FAQs (http://www.kroy.com/techsup/600faq.htm). I have a K3100 which comes with some basic lable design software, which it appears you can download from Kroy, but it doesn't look compatible with the TM600. For what it's worth, the K3100 was a great investment.
