Jam nuts on rod ends?

Are there supposed to be jam nuts on the spherical rod ends at the throttle, mixture and prop?

Searched and couldn't find, but got bummed out reading threads about having to replace cables a few years down the road.

Yes they are required and expected to be there.

They are also shown on the associated drawings for connecting the cables (throttle/mixture/governor) and are included with the cables when purchased.
