Default Cleveland Burke-Lakefront, USS Cod

The USS Cod is a WWII submarine that you can do a self-directed, self-paced tour through for $6. Very cool! It's easy walking distance from the terminal, probably only a quarter mile or so.

Big trip write-up with pictures here:

Update:

Default Thanks Dave

I'll be hitting Burke in August from Minneapolis. This helps with the planning.

As always, Dave, a GREAT write-up. As you know, Cleveland and I have a love affair. And flying into Burke is one of my dreams.

(Scroll down on this page) I can't thank you enough for continuing to provide me with terrific motivation.

Bob,

I look forward to meeting you there someday. There are two specific RV builds that I'm actively monitoring, and yours is one of them. Interestingly, knowing that I'm providing motivation for you guys in turn provides motivation for me to keep writing.

I'll be going back to BKL many times, I'm sure, as I get the feeling that I've only scratched the surface of the things to do there. With the Class B being the way it is, I'd prefer it if I could file, though, so I'm starting to get itchy for an IFR capable airplane. I don't know how I could part from Papa, though.

Dilemma...
