Default EI FP-5 Fuel monitoring problem

I have an FP-5 in my RV8 that up until has worked flawlessly. I parked the airplane outside a couple of weeks ago and it was rained on for 3 days. When I cranked up the FF indicator was reading a bit higher than normal. All during my trip back to Georgia from Texas it indicated alot higher than normal fuel flow. After cutting my first leg short to check for leaks etc. I fueled the plane and it in fact had been burning normal rates. Just the FP-5 was reading high. I checked the K factor and it was still correct.
I have since tried adjusting it with actual fuel burned, but it still reads differently.
Has anyone had experience with the transducer failing or going bad? Or, does anyone have any other thoughts what could be causing this?
