Default Fuse penetrations at wing root for wiring

I'm about to finalise my wiring between the wings and panel on my -10. I have opted for quick disconnects at the wing root and plan separate (molex) connectors for the DC wiring and strobes, BNC bulkhead connectors for the Nav and MB antennas and bulkhead connector for the pitot. The plans suggest that a single hole be enlarged to accommodate the wiring to the wing. Before I make swiss cheese of the fuse side skins (ie 4-5 holes per side), would appreciate feedback on what others have done and whether Vans has limitations on the number, size and location of these holes.

thanks in advance
Ron

Default Side skin holes at wing root

Vans response to query about multiple holes at the wing root for wing wires:

"Sorry, we've never done it this way"

Less than helpful. Does everyone REALLY have only a single hole for the wing wires at the root?? Does anyone know the maximum diameter allowed??

cheers,
Ron
hoping for some feedback . . .
