Default Oops, an #8 dimple hole

Sooner or later it was going too happened and I did it. I have an extra hole, i.e. a #8 dimple in my VS using my pneumatic squeezer.

I know, most here have done it and ?build on? is the word, but this one is a little different. The little amount of aluminum between the two ?o? of the 8 is only 1/32 to 1/16 thick. Looking closely, it already had a small crack and I?m almost certain it will split once a rivet is squeezed. Two dimple holes are just too large to try and put one ?oops? rivet in.

Any ideas? I looked into the archives and I know some have filled with liquid metal from Loctite, others used JB Weld, while some just fill it in with Bondo before painting. Will this work for me, or is this one of those times when buying a new skin is the way to go?

I tried to take a picture, but getting a close up just wouldn?t focus.

Thanks!
Phil
