Default X-Series oil cooler

Has anybody out there tried the new
X-Series oil cooler by Airflow Systems?
If you have, how about a report?

Thanks,
Pat

bumping this thread...

looking for info on the x-series oil cooler?
worth it?

does it fit behind cyl #4 on the baffles? or firewall mount only?

managed to severe one thread/fitting on the standard van's cooler while installing a fitting (used ez-lube etc...). my guess beyond repair. must have been an issue with either the oil cooler or the npt-thread on the elbow.

rgds,
bernie

Anyone have a PIREP on the x-series oil cooler from airflow systems?

I have slightly high oil temps and this claims to lower temps by 10-15 degrees?

I'm not flying yet, so I have no direct knowledge to share. However, there are a fair number of these in RV-10s. From the conversations that I've had, the claims appear to be accurate.
