Default VAF's activity trend is awesome.

I noticed today the following as I scrolled down..
====================
What's Going On?
Currently Active Users: 190 (52 members and 138 guests)
Most users ever online was 388, 06-25-2007 at 08:00 AM.
====================

Not only does that trend show that the user activity is continuously growing, it also suggests that the first thing users are doing when their get to their work PCs is logging into VAF. (8:00am)..

Okay, maybe that is stretching it a tad but, the 388 users online simutaneously on June 25th does speak volumes for the VAF community.

Imagine what the Wright brothers could have accomplished if they had internet access..

Default Forecasting the future growth...

My initial projection of what bandwidth and server requirements would be in two years are looking to be a tad off. Oh well....this is something I can adjust for .

Great community.

Best always,
Doug

Even though Doug, this forum is super responsive and never seems slow to me. Great job! Now if imageshack could say the same that would be great.

This is the second page I look at in the morning. First is either BoingBoing or Fark. I can't tell you how many times this site has gotten me through a real puzzle of a build step or provided food for thought in an RV-related decision. Thanks again, Doug!

When I first started lurking around this site I could read everything posted each day, plus a lot of older threads and not be overwhelmed.
For a while now I pull up "Today's Posts" and pick stuff that looks interesting or pertinent and barely scratch the surface, even though I'm spending more time here!

Oh, by the way Doug, congrates on 6000 members! Did ja ever think?

VAF is an investment. How often have I scratched my head just to find the answer here! I bet Dan C could have used a site like this in the olden days All the best for a prosperous future.

Thank you, Lorne (and others saying thanks). I did think there several thousand who might be interested in something like this, but I was surprised at the timeframe. What a great group.
Best,
d
