Default oil temps on hot days

So if I buy the new and improved oil cooler from Spruce how much temperature drop should i expect and will lower oil temp help my cht any?I have a newly finished RV7,180 hp carburated,constant speed prop,We have 14 hours and are bonding nicely,By the way we had a surging problem with our new MT prop governor and just got the new F model,Works great now!Bob D in East TN

Can you provide a little more data?

Which cooler are you running?

Which cooler are you considering as a replacement?

What are your current oil temperatures, and at what outside air temperature?
