Question Tip-up Canopy Cut Question...

I have done the big cut and am fine-trimming the main bubble on the frame. I notice that the lower-rear portion overlaps the thick L-Brackets that hold the rollbar in place (forgot the part number). Are you supposed to cut a square notch out of the plexi so it goes around it? something doesnt seem right...

Default Notch the corner

Matt,

Yes you notch the corner to clear the bracket. I can post a photo if you need to see it.

You might be better making the cut straight along the bottom edge at a height to clear the roll bar mount angle. If the side edge hangs down too far it will ride up on the joggle of the inner frame and not sit well.

Default Yes

As I remember the joggle in the side rails of the frame are in line with the top of the angle.

The bottom edge of the canopy sits on top of this angle and just slips behind the overlap of the rear top skin.
