Default Quick Build Green Stuff

What is the green stuff that Van's uses on the main spar counter sunk areas? The area in question is where the gold anodized spar has been counter sunk. Also the holes where the fuel tank attaches to the spar are not green. Should I worry about no primer in that area?

Thanks.

Default primer

I primed the countersunk holes on my slow build RV10 wings. There's alot of dicussion as to whether or not primer is needed at all. I chose to prime any metal that joins to another peice of metal.

Might pick up an Alodine pen. That thing is very handy to have for countersunk holes (and other places)
