Amputee flying
Mornin' all,
This thread was addressed a while back, started by Kahuna. I have a one-legged gentleman training to fly his own -7A. He has a strong right leg and a prosthesis on the left. Has anyone rigged an A model with a cable from the rudder pedals to the firewall and around to the other pedal so one leg can be used with a stirrup for left and right turns? The brakes are another difficulty but he has information on handbrakes with differential brakes.
I'd appreciate information from any on here about a simple, effective way to deal with this.
Thanks in advance,
Pierre
