Sporting event NOTAM

My ticket for this sunday's Nascar race says the race starts at 2pm. The TV listings are starting at 12:30, obviously with pre-race coverage. Since I need to be on the ground 1 hour before the race starts, am I okay if I'm down before 1 pm. What determines the start time as far as the FAA/TSA is concerned?
The airport is 2 miles from MIS racetrack.

Here is the sure way to find out for TFR, NOTAMS..... "Call Flight Service Station at 1-800-WX-BRIEF". Others on the web are FAA.gov or APOA.org There's many good soucres on the web, but to be safe...use flight services.
