North Atlanta Hangar/Build Space Recommendations/Info
Greeting VAF Friends,
I may be getting military orders to Dobbins AFB in the next few months. If I get the job, I will likely be moving there by myself and leaving my family in IL (wife has a good job here). I will likely either rent an apartment or buy a small RV (recreational vehicle) and rent a space. If I could I find a hanger with a living area that would be ideal. Last month I began building the emp kit for a -14A (my first plane) in my garage. I don't want to walk away from the project for the 4 years that I will be there. Thus, I will need a place to work on and store the aircraft. Any recommendations or info regarding hangar/build space north of Atlanta? I am thinking KPUJ, KVPC, and KCNI look like good options based on fuel prices. KRYY is closer but looks like it may be more expensive. Any info on hangar availability and hangar cost would be much appreciated.
