Default Oil Supply Line Fitting Problem

I have an IO-360-M1 with C/S and there's an issue with the Van's oil cooler supply line clearing the constant speed control cable bracket.

Per Dan's website, he went with the 45-deg. engine fitting and a 45-deg hose fitting for the oil supply line to the cooler. Has anyone used straight fittings here and actually have it work?

Thanks,

Jim

Default Even a 45 wouldn't work

with the straight back style of oil filter adaptor (already had a stright end fitting on the hose)....Incidently nor would a stright, or 90 deg.

I had to weld a 45 deg on the end of a straight at about a total angle of 60 deg...

Phew!
