Default Edge distance issues at firewall

Has anyone else had edge distance issues on the topmost hole of the side skin F-770 where the AD3 rivet attaches to the firewall flange. I haven't drilled mine yet, but it really looks like i'm going to blow the edge distance here and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get more distance.

Default Edge distance

Yep. Mine are close as well. One each side. It's barely within edge distance tolerance. I never called Vans because I figured edge distance was different for stainless. Vans designed it so they must know about it. Let us know if you find out otherwise. No way to change it except a doubler or extra rivet each side.

Thanks Larry, yup I called Van's today and it was a 'build on'. We are so ingrained to be mindful of edge distance through the build that when we hit an area like this, the panic starts to set in.
