Default G-Meter Depth?

Now that I am getting started in basic aerobatics in the RV, I've gone ahead and ordered the 3 1/8" overhauled g-meter from Aircraft Spruce (did not feel like trying the Falcon product, and it appears those may be back ordered anyway). Does anyone know how deep this instrument is? I'd like to do some planning as to where it will go in the panel, and what cutting may be needed, before it shows up. I would think these things should be pretty shallow, with not much to them, but then one never knows.....

TIA

Did Aircraft Spruce have any idea when you ordered it?

I don't have that specific model, but g-meters are generally pretty thin. I'd guess 2" deep (similar to an airspeed indicator)

Have fun!
