Default Latest RV Grin / Proud Daddy :-)

Today was one of those great RV-moments :-)

Our 3 year-and-two-month old was ready for her first RV ride! And we had a blast...

The all too familiar RV grin after the flight:

I had prepared a booster seat, which works extremely well.
It's a combination of a luggage strap, some styrofoam blocks, lots of duct tape, some zip ties (to extend the center belt of the 5-point harness) and an off-the-shelf booster seat intended for a standard table chair...

The contraption looks like this:

and like this when installed (note the zip tie extension of the center strap):

What doesn't work too well yet, as you'll see in the pics, is the headset situation ;-) My old DC is way too heavy for any kind of accelerated flight *G*
Any ideas/pointers for a good kids headset (short of a $1k Bose?) are highly appreciated!

Takeoff!

Didn't go too bad it appears ;-)

So we go for a low pass at my covid19 impacted workplace nearby (LSZH)

Oops, that pullup was a bit too hard, where'd the headset go? ;-)

Can't be too bad

Still smiling...

TBC...

Before long, with that TMX-IO-360 humming along...

Some issues with sleep stability *G* gotta figure out a solution for that...

by the time we land, all awake again

and finally, getting rid of the bugs

And the best: She's already longing for the next flight...

What a fine day in the life of an RVator :-)))))

So envious!!!

Still figured my 4 yr old grandkids were a bit too small to see out of the 6...

Nice seat engineering!

Gosh, looking at your pictures brought a tear to my heart. I remember flying with mine. They loved it. Both are grown now, married with families of their own. I miss that time when they were little. Your daughter is a beautiful little piece of magic. God bless you and her on this memorial day. Thanks for sharing.
