Looking for help with air box for a RV6A with O320-H2AD, The carb is aprox ?? inch off center and the accelerator pump sticks down about ?? into the air box top plate, also interferes with the filter ? If anyone has found a way to used the air box supplied by Vans please post or send pictures.

Thanks

Where are you located with your project?

I have a H2AD in my flying RV-7 if your are any where close to SFM let me know

TO install the filter you have to cut the air filter to fit around the accel pump if you put a little bit of grease on the pump then place rtv on the cut part of the filter and then press it on to the carb it forms a great seal

I reformed the fiberglass end of the aribox and modified the hole in the lower cowl

I have 60 hours on it know I have had the cowl off several times and have seen no problems

Ken in maine grinning every time i can
