My first GRT setup had the VDO unit, as I recall it is a simple resistance device, ground through the case, and one wire to the EIS.
My new project has the newer senders, they are higher pressure and look to be a better overall construction. Three wire units, need ground, power and signal hookups. Be careful of what power source ---- the instructions go into detail about that.
