Default General Install Process

For a -7 with an IO-360-M1, after the engine is hung on the mount, what's the general install process flow. Controls, Baffle, exhaust? Whats the best order to tackle the f/w forward stuff?

Jim

After hanging the engine I did the exhaust next. My thinking was the need to route the wiring, hoses and control cables away from the hot exhaust.

Basically work from the inside out. Don't install the exhaust until after you get the throttle/mixture controls set up for example. Just makes it easier to get at things if you keep the inside to outside concept in play.

Philosophically...FIRST install the things for which there's no choice where they go (exhaust & baffles). Then you can install the things that are a little more flexible (wires & cables & hoses), and clamp them to those other "fixed" things.
